Annique Simpson

Hello there! I’m Annique Simpson, an award-winning internal communications professional currently working in the London office of a large, national private sector organisation.

The world of work intrigues me. Has done since my psych undergraduate days, when I first discovered organisational psychology – the study of individuals in an organisation. I’m particularly interested in work motivation and creating efficient, equitable and enjoyable workplaces.

It was this fascination that led me to internal communications. Studying and working in this exciting and expansive profession has allowed me to combine my interest in people at work and my love for creating engaging written and visual content.

I use this blog to explore how psychological concepts and theory can be used to inform and enhance internal communications practice.

When I’m not talking about work, I take photos, go to live music events, and head up We Young Queens, an initiative that celebrates the achievements of Black women globally. Follow me on Twitter at @annique_simpson for all of the above. I’m also on LinkedIn so feel free to connect with me on there too.
